NDS

Today's consumers are no longer restricted as to where and when they can view their favourite content.

Roy Isacowitz, Marketing Expert for Mobile solutions at NDS, and his team would like to meet with you at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from February 11-14 to show you the company's latest offerings to secure and enhance the experience of watching TV on mobile devices and to share NDS' views on where this business is headed.

  • Cross-Platform TV – Consumers will soon be able to subscribe only once in order to enjoy TV on any device and at any time. NDS has developed new business models for the convergent TV experience, as well as providing support for multiple standards and the ability to deliver video seamlessly to screens of all sizes.
  • Mobile Broadband – With broadband going wireless and 18-34 year olds increasingly choosing to watch video from the Internet, operators need to start planning for TV services combing digital video, broadband and mobility. These services will be provided over new radio technologies such as WiMAX and LTE or to hybrid devices which leverage the powerful combination of broadcast and broadband.
  • Pricing – The downward pressure on mobile TV pricing will inevitably lead to free-to-air services and a variety of ad-based business models.
  • User Experience – The smaller the screen, the more important it is to provide a clear and practical user experience. NDS has built on its years of usability experience in pay-TV to develop new mobile ESGs, using technologies such as Flash and touch screen activation.

To schedule a briefing with NDS, please contact one of our communication partners listed below. NDS will be located at stand AV100 in the outside Avenue Area of Mobile World Congress.

We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona!
