Making NaaS a Reality
Visit Aepona at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, and hear how the concept of Network as a Service - NaaS - is fast becoming a reality for telecommunications operators worldwide
NaaS is an emerging business model for Telcos, in which they treat their key network assets - communications, information and intelligence - as marketable resources that can be safely and securely offered to third parties on a commercial basis. In doing so operators can drive forward service innovation, bring services to market more quickly, increase customer loyalty and realise a new, 2-sided business model.
Until recently, the NaaS model has been largely experimental, with several operators launching Open API initiatives to allow third party developers to create new services and applications using limited network capabilities. However, NaaS is now starting to become mainstream, driven both by demand from third party web and Enterprise application developers, who want to differentiate their offering by embedding Telco features into their applications, and by industry initiatives such as the GSMA's OneAPI project, that aims to eliminate the fragmentation that has previously hindered broad adoption in the industry.
Aepona is at the forefront of making NaaS a commercial reality. In our booth at MWC, we will be showcasing our award-winning Universal Service Platform, which has been deployed by operators in North America and Europe as the foundation of their NaaS strategies, as well being the platform upon which the GSMA's OneAPI Reference Implementation has been built.
We will also be demonstrating a number of multi-service applications, such as Aepona's Family Bundle solution, that combine multiple applications with the unique capabilities of the telecoms network, providing end-users with compelling services, increasing customer loyalty for the operators, and enabling true differentiation for third party application providers. A number of Partner applications utilising Aepona's Universal Service Platform will also be shown on our booth.
Come and visit us in Hall 2, Stand 2F08 to witness how Aepona is helping to make the NaaS vision a reality.

А мне казалось, что NaaS продвигает Fujitsu, по крайней мере, были упоминания об этом еще в мае 2007 года. Но, вот, теперь Aepona. Насколько это актуально для российских операторов... вопрос, однако...
