- Comarch's Dealer Management System has allowed Vivatel to bring a new level of Customer Support to the Bulgarian Market. Consumers are able to walk into any Retail Outlet selling Vivatel Consumer Post Pay, select a number and have their service acitivated within ten minutes; often before they have left the Shop. This improved Customer Support has been an important part of making the launch of Vivatel's Consumer Post Pay Product such a success. – says John Melton, Vivatel CIO.

- Our project required the delivery of an application with Bulgarian and English language interfaces, which also integrated with the client’s existing systems: CRM, billing, ERP and POS management. Implementing the system was not an easy task, considering the strict four-month schedule imposed by Vivatel. We are very pleased with the close cooperation between Comarch’s IT specialists and Vivatel’s professional staff. Comarch DMS is a centralized, easy to use solution which facilitates the delivery of a wide range of services including GSM post-paid and payment receipt (invoicing and cash receipt). The system is currently used in several hundred sale centers throughout Bulgaria and is fully integrated with the Point-of-Sale management system in all of Vivatel’s branches.

The comprehensive sale process ranges from data entry, client search, metallic number selection (silver, gold, etc) to service configuration, payment acceptance, SIM activation and the service provisioning in technical systems. The payment process starts from the invoice, client search, payment history, payment acceptance (via the ERP system or accepted by external CR systems for dealers and subsequently approved by the operator) and data entry into the billing system.

Vivatel (BTC Mobile) is the third largest GSM in Bulgaria. It’s services have been chosen by more than 270,000 subscribers during the five month period between November 2005 and March 2006. The thriving mobile operator shows no signs of slowing its dynamic expansion. Over the coming 12 month period, Vivatel expects its customer base to continue to grow rapidly.
