According companies data on January, 1st, 2007 number of contract “Kyivstar” subscribers totaled 1 229 414 people, the number of pre-paid subscribers (ACE&BASE and DJUICE) – 20 280 865 people.

December is traditionally a month in which the Ukrainian mobile market is seeing exceptionally high uptake of new customers. Statistics reveal that the customer uptake in December 2006 was almost twice as high as in the previous year (1,392 mln.).

Today Kyivstar serves almost half of the Ukrainian population, and is the undisputed market leader. During the fourth quarter of 2006 Kyivstar gained more than 3,8 million new subscribers.
