2007.07 Nokia Siemens Networks chosed for the supply and implementation of its GSM network extensions and 3G WCDMA network with HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) functionality and associated services.
Nokia Siemens Networks started the deliveries in July, allowing Telekom Srbija to expand its mobile broadband network and to offer advanced and differentiating 3G WCDMA (Wideband Code-Division Multiple Access) services to its more than 5 million customers. It covers equipment delivery and installation, commissioning and integration of the system, comprising such solutions as a high speed radio network, next generation mobile core equipment and an extension of the prepaid system.
