The AISG TMA interface eliminates the need for additional cables by allowing operators to control the Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) antenna systems directly from the TMA. This allows sites to be upgraded quickly, affordably and more conveniently than current RET systems. REMEC develops TMAs to improve coverage and reduce dropped call rates in networks built using analog, TDMA, CDMA, GSM and UMTS technologies.

RET antenna systems enable static and dynamic management of antenna tilt from the base of the tower, or remotely from the operations center. This RET feature is integrated into a range of REMEC’s compact TMAs, the only to offer the following features:

- Small size and lightweight, allowing ease of installation and minimum tower loading
- Industry-leading resistance to any deteriorating effects of wind, rain, snow and ice
