Ericsson поставит решение LTE для ирландской Eircom

Компания Eircom подписала рамочное соглашение с Ericsson общей стоимостью в 80 млн евро. Соглашение подразумевает поставку решений LTE, 3G, 2G, ПО и услуг.

Ирландский оператор eircom и Ericsson подписали соглашение, в рамках которого Ericsson будет выступать эксклюзивным поставщиком радиоподсистемы LTE, а также 3G и 2G для сетей операторов в Ирландии.

В рамках сделки будет поставляться оборудование Ericsson RBS 6000 - макро и малые соты. Также будет поставлено ПО LTE RAN и апгрейды для существующего ПО 2G и 3G.

Ericsson также обеспечит сопутствующие услуги во все время действия соглашения.

Eircom первым запустил услуги LTE в Ирландии. На этом этапе компания также использовала решение Ericsson.

Ericsson в своем пресс-релизе отмечает, что занимает первое место на рынке Ирландии по объемам поставки оборудования LTE.

Irish operator eircom and Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) have signed a five-year exclusive agreement which sees Ericsson become the sole vendor for eircom’s radio access solutions for 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution), as well as 3G and 2G mobile technologies across Ireland. The agreement will enable eircom to meet growing customer demand for mobile broadband services while delivering superior network performance.

The deal includes multi-standard radio base station equipment from the Ericsson RBS 6000 base station family for macro and small cell networks, LTE RAN software and upgrades of existing 2G and 3G access network software.

Ericsson will also provide support services for the equipment for the duration of the agreement.
